Kuleba calls on French company TotalEnergies to withdraw from Russia

Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba has called on the French company TotalEnergies, which is suspected of participating in the supply of jet fuel to the Russian army, to withdraw from the Russian market.

The Ukrainian minister wrote this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

“We are grateful to Emmanuel Macron and the French people for supporting Ukraine. Against this background, it is a disgrace to France when French companies assist the murder of Ukrainians and the ruining of our cities. TotalEnergies, pull out of Russia!” Kuleba wrote.

Earlier, France’s Le Monde newspaper reported that TotalEnergies is involved in supplying gas condensate for the production of jet fuel through the French firm's share in a joint venture with Russia's Novatek.

French Minister of Transport Clément said that information on TotalEnergies' involvement in the supply of jet fuel to the Russian military needs to be verified.

As reported, in March, the French oil and gas company TotalEnergies initiated the gradual suspension of activities in Russia due to its aggression against Ukraine.
