President meets with former UN Secretary General and Colombia’s ex-leader

President Volodymyr Zelensky had a meeting with representatives of the group of world leaders The Elders - former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and ex-President of Colombia Juan Manuel Santos Calderon.

The head of state said in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

“A productive meeting with representatives of the group of world leaders The Elders - former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and ex-President of Colombia Juan Manuel Santos.

The topic of the war in Ukraine should remain in the world information space. This indicates the support for our state. And therefore helps us bring the victory closer,” Zelensky wrote.

The president thanked for this visit and sincere desire to help Ukraine and its citizens.

The Elders is a group of world leaders that formed at the beginning of the 21st century in order to address global human rights issues and abuses.
