Estonia to continue military assistance and support Ukraine on its way to NATO

Estonia will continue to deliver the next tranches of military equipment and military assistance to Ukraine and will provide comprehensive support for Ukraine on its way to NATO membership.

The relevant statement was made by Estonian Foreign Affairs Minister Urmas Reinsalu during a joint briefing with Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Minister Dmytro Kuleba in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to Reinsalu, it is necessary to step up pressure on the aggressor state, namely to increase sanctions and ensure Russia’s isolation as the aggressor state committing genocide against the Ukrainian people and making continuous attempts to destroy the Ukrainian statehood.

Reinsalu also emphasized that Estonia as a country is interested in establishing cooperation with Ukraine in relation to the legal responsibility of those involved in the organization of aggression.

A reminder that, on August 2, 2022, Estonian Foreign Affairs Minister Urmas Reinsalu started his first foreign visit to Ukraine. Reinsalu came to Zhytomyr Region, as Estonia is planning to help with its post-war reconstruction.
