Zelensky meets with OSCE Chairman-in-Office

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Poland's Minister of Foreign Affairs Zbigniew Rau.

This was reported by the Office of the Ukrainian President, Ukrinform saw.

The head of state thanked the president and government of Poland, as well as the entire Polish people for their strong support for Ukraine in the wake of the full-scale Russian invasion.

"These are powerful neighbors who are helping us today, at this historic moment, supporting us in various directions," Zelensky said.

He also expressed his gratitude to Poland for the assistance provided to forcibly displaced Ukrainians.

"They help with whatever way they can – welcoming them in their families, helping our children, helping families find jobs and shelter," the head of state noted.

The president noted Poland's legislative initiatives in support of Ukrainians residing on the territory of this country. He recalled that the Verkhovna Rada passed a similar law regarding the special status for Poles in Ukraine.

"I believe that there should be as many such things as possible between our nations. Such unity at this time testifies to the common future of our peoples and our independent sovereign states," he said.

Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Poland for security assistance to Ukraine, including supplies of Krab self-propelled artillery units.

The head of state called on Zbigniew Rau to undertake efforts toward the liberation of Ukrainian members of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission from enemy captivity.
