Zelensky: Netherlands may join reconstruction of Kherson region

Dutch politicians consider joining the reconstruction of Kherson region.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said this at a briefing with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Zelensky noted that the issue of reconstruction of Ukraine – not after the war but already now – had been discussed separately during the negotiations with the Head of the Government of the Netherlands.

In particular, the President focused on strengthening security, reviving economy, preparing the educational system for a new school year, preparing the state for heating season.

"We talked about restoration. The Netherlands will consider the issue, but they look closely at our Kherson region," the President of Ukraine added.
