FM Kuleba calls on G7 to respond with more sanctions on Russia and more heavy arms for Ukraine

Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Minister Dmytro Kuleba has called on the G7 summit to respond to Russia’s missile attack on Kyiv with more sanctions on the aggressor and more heavy arms for Ukraine.

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Minister Dmytro Kuleba on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“This 7 y.o. Ukrainian kid was sleeping peacefully in Kyiv until a Russian cruise missile blasted her home. Many more around Ukraine are under strikes. G7 summit must respond with more sanctions on Russia and more heavy arms for Ukraine. Russia’s sick imperialism must be defeated,” Kuleba wrote.

A reminder that, in the morning of June 26, 2022, a 9-storey apartment block was hit with a Russian missile strike on Kyiv’s central district. The upper floors of the residential house were partially destroyed. Currently, five civilians were reported injured. Rescue works are underway.
