Germany to provide Ukraine with air defense systems, to consider MLRS supply

Germany will supply Ukraine with a modern IRIS-T-class air defense system and a modern target detection radar, as well as consider the possibility of supplying multiple rocket launchers in cooperation with the United States.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz delivered the news in his address to the Bundestag on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Most recently, the government has decided that we will deliver the most modern air defense system that Germany has, which is the IRIS-T," the chancellor said.
