Ambassador: Hungary has no territorial claims in western Ukraine

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Ukraine István Íjgyártó says that his country has no territorial claims in Zakarpattia, Ukraine’s western region.

"We have no territorial claims when it comes to Zakarpattia," the Ambassador said in an interview with Espreso TV channel.

Russia is an aggressor state, a military aggressor, while Hungary fully supports the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, the ambassador underscored.

"We fully condemn all human rights violations against Ukrainian citizens. We call on the international community, as well as the Ukrainian side, to investigate these violations. We stand for peace," Íjgyártó said.
