Germany reopens embassy in Kyiv – Baerbock

Germany is reopening its embassy in Kyiv, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock has said.

 She said this at a joint briefing with her Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba in Kyiv on Tuesday, May 10, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"While here, we are reopening our German embassy in Kyiv. At first, it will be a slightly limited activity. I am very glad to be accompanied by Ms. Ambassador Anka Feldhusen, and she will continue to work in your free city," she said.

More than 20 countries have already reopened their embassies in Kyiv, including the EU, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
