EU, Ukraine representatives start discussing questionnaire for EU candidate country status

Representatives of the European Union and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine have begun discussing a questionnaire for the EU candidate country status.

Ambassador of the European Union to Ukraine Matti Maasikas wrote this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

“The best possible start to my first official working day back in Kyiv. Meeting with Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olha Stefanishyna, representatives of the European Commission for Neighborhood and Enlargement, the EU Delegation to Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the questionnaire, the basis for the European Commission forthcoming opinion on Ukraine's EU membership application. Working 24/7 as tasked by President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen,” he wrote.

As Ukrinform report, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, during her visit to Kyiv on April 8, handed over a questionnaire for the EU candidate country status to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
