Podolyak: Abramovich is efficient mediator between delegations in negotiation process

Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich is a highly efficient mediator in the negotiation process between Ukraine and Russia.

"He is a highly efficient mediator between the delegations. That is, he moderates the process in part, so that there is no misunderstanding at the starting point: when a party says something and the other party does not understand it the right way, in terms of logistics of the negotiation process," Mykhailo Podolyak, a member of the Ukrainian delegation, Adviser to the Head of the President's Office, said at a briefing, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Podolyak also noted that the probable poisoning of Abramovich rather related to speculative, conspiratorial versions that should put pressure on delegations, prevent them from focusing on the essence.

Earlier, Bellingcat reported that three members of the delegation, who took part in Ukraine–Russia talks, experienced symptoms of chemical weapons poisoning. Roman Abramovich allegedly was one of them.

In addition, the media reported the poisoning of a member of the Ukrainian delegation, MP Rustem Umerov. However, Umerov denied this information and said that he was all right. Mykhailo Podolyak also stated that all members of the negotiating groups worked on a full-time basis.
