U.S. to continue supporting Ukraine in various spheres - Blinken

The United States will continue to support Ukraine in the humanitarian, security, and economic spheres.

This was announced on Twitter by U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken after he and Pentagon Chief Lloyd Austin met in Warsaw with Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov.

“We pledged continued support to meet Ukraine’s humanitarian, security & economic needs,” Blinken tweeted on Saturday.

Blinken also recalled that President Putin's full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine had already entered its second month.

On February 24, Russian President Putin announced the launch of a large-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops have been destroying key infrastructure and residential neighborhoods.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
