PMs of Poland, Czech Republic, Slovenia discuss further support with Ukraine’s leadership in Kyiv

Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Fiala, and Prime Minister of Slovenia Janez Janša discuss further support for our state with Ukraine’s leadership in Kyiv.

"Prime ministers Mateusz Morawiecki, Petr Fiala, and Janez Janša arrived in Kyiv on behalf of the European Council. The courage of true friends of Ukraine! Discussing support for Ukraine and strengthening sanctions against the Russian aggression," Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal posted on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

As Poland’s PM Mateusz Morawiecki noted, the key task is to end the war unleashed by the Russian Federation as soon as possible.

"This war is the result of the cruel tyrant who attacks defenseless civilians, bombs the cities and hospitals of Ukraine! Hence, the world has lost its sense of safety, and innocent people are dying and losing all their property. We must stop the tragedy in the East as soon as possible," Morawiecki posted on Instagram.

The prime ministers of Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovenia arrived in Ukraine on March 15. This is the first visit of international guests of such a level to Kyiv since the beginning of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine.

On February 24, Russian president Putin announced the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine. Russians destroy cities, kill civilians, shell and ruin key infrastructure and residential buildings in Ukraine.
