Kuleba, Truss discuss further steps to strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities

Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba has discussed with his British counterpart, Liz Truss practical steps to further strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities.

The Foreign Minister wrote about this on Twitter, according to Ukrinform.

"Call with Liz Truss on practical steps to further strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities. I underscored the urgent need to impose new sanctions on Russia for its continued barbaric war crimes in Ukraine. Grateful to the UK for standing by Ukraine at this critical time," Kuleba said.

Once again, he thanked the United Kingdom for supporting Ukraine at this critical time.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine and launched a large-scale invasion. Russian troops have been killing civilians, shelling and destroying key infrastructure, and their missiles have been hitting Ukrainian households.

Ukraine has officially filed a lawsuit against Russia with the UN International Criminal Court in The Hague.
