European Union ready to provide comprehensive cybersecurity support to Ukraine

The European Union has reaffirmed its readiness to provide comprehensive assistance to Ukraine in strengthening its cybersecurity amid ongoing Russia's military build-up along Ukraine's borders and attempts to destabilize the work of Ukrainian government agencies.

"We have agreed that the European Union will offer us a comprehensive proposal to strengthen our cybersecurity. We understand that modern warfare is not just about tanks, artillery, planes, it is also about fighting in cyberspace. Today I have received confirmation from the European Union that they are responding positively to my request, to my letter to them, and that we will be offered systemic assistance from the European Union," Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba said at a press conference following his participation in the EU Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels today, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

As reported, the EU Foreign Affairs Council meets in Brussels today to discuss, among other things, the security crisis caused by Russia's military build-up along Ukraine's borders.
