Kuleba thanks participants in Partnership Fund for a Resilient Ukraine

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba thanked the United States, Great Britain, Canada, Sweden, and Switzerland for establishing a fund to mitigate Russia's destabilizing influence in the southern and eastern regions of Ukraine.

“Grateful to Canada, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK, and USA for establishing the Partnership Fund for a Resilient Ukraine, a UK-led multi-year and multi-donor programme worth up to £35m,” Kuleba posted on Twitter.

The minister called the establishment of the Fund “timely support for Ukraine’s resilience and communities in our southern and eastern regions.”

The Partnership Fund for a Resilient Ukraine is a joint initiative of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and international partners: Great Britain, Canada, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United States. The Fund initially has a budget of GBP 35 million (USD 47 million) to implement the first projects.

This year, the Partnership Fund for a Resilient Ukraine will finance four projects, including thermal modernization of residential buildings in Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kherson regions.
