Zelensky appoints Ukrainian ambassadors to five countries

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Ukrainian ambassadors to Serbia, the Netherlands, Vietnam, Brunei Darussalam and Malta.

The decrees to that effect have been published on the website of the head of state, Ukrinform reports.

According to the documents, Volodymyr Tolkach was appointed Ukraine's ambassador to Serbia. Oleksandr Aleksandrovych was previously dismissed from this post.

The president also appointed Maksym Kononenko as Ukraine's ambassador to the Netherlands.

Oleksandr Haman was appointed Ukraine's ambassador to Vietnam, but was previously dismissed as Ukraine's representative to the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation.

In addition, the head of state appointed Ambassador to Italy Yaroslav Melnyk as Ukraine's ambassador to Malta. Ukraine's Ambassador to Singapore Kateryna Zelenko was also appointed Ukraine's ambassador to Brunei Darussalam.
