Zelensky to deliver annual address in parliament on Dec 1

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will deliver a state-of-the-nation address at a plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada on December 1, parliamentary press secretary Maria Deineko has told Ukrinform.

"Yes, on December 1," she said when asked about the specific date for the president's annual address.

David Arakhamia, head of the parliamentary faction of the Servant of the People party, said earlier that the head of state would make a state-of-the-nation address in December.

According to Article 106 of the Constitution of Ukraine, the president delivers a state-of-the-nation address in the Verkhovna Rada each year.
