U.S. Assistant Secretary of State arrives in Kyiv

U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Karen Donfried is on a visit to Kyiv to meet with Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and representatives of the President's Office.

The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine announced this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

"Assistant Secretary Dr. Karen Donfried is visiting Kyiv today to reaffirm our strategic partnership, the U.S. commitment to Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and cooperation to advance Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration," the embassy said.

It also said that Donfried would meet with Kuleba and representatives of the President's Office to discuss cooperation in promoting Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration, including the implementation of reforms to strengthen democracy, combat corruption and promote Ukraine's economic growth.
