Ukraine–EU Summit to take place in Kyiv tomorrow

The 23rd Ukraine–EU Summit will take place in Kyiv on October 12. Several agreements are planned to be signed.

As the press service of the Head of State informs, the event will be chaired by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, President of the European Council Charles Michel, and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.

The leaders will discuss the achievements and prospects for Ukraine–EU cooperation in the implementation of the Association Agreement, the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area, energy security, and deepening sectoral cooperation.

The issues of security and defense cooperation, the situation in Donbas and the occupied Crimea are also on the agenda.

A number of agreements between Ukraine and the European Union are planned to be signed within the framework of the Summit.

A joint statement will be adopted following the Summit.
