Kuleba responds to Lavrov: Outrageous is war waged by Russia in eastern Ukraine

In response to the statement by Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba called outrageous the war that the Russian Federation brought to eastern Ukraine.

"Outrageous is the war that Russia unleashed in Donbas, killing more than 14,000 people. Outrageous is economic, humanitarian, environmental disaster it brought. Ukraine is a free country where people elect a president, a party, choose a TV channel, a place of residence. There is nothing outrageous about this," Kuleba posted on Twitter.

The other day, Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov called "outrageous" the call of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky for the residents of eastern Ukraine who feel like Russians to go to Russia.

On August 5, President Zelensky said in an interview that in order to settle the situation in eastern Ukraine, it is important that residents of the occupied areas identify themselves and answer the questions "who are we?" and "are we with Russia or Ukraine?"
