Date, program of Zelensky's visit to United States to be released soon

The date and program of President Volodymyr Zelensky's visit to the United States are currently being finalized and may be announced in the coming days.

"Now all the approvals and preparations are at the final stage and I hope that either I or the President's Office will be able to inform you about the date and program of the upcoming visit in the coming days," Press Secretary of the President Serhiy Nykyforov said at a briefing on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

On June 7, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and U.S. President Joe Biden held telephone talks, during which the American leader invited his Ukrainian counterpart to visit the White House.

On June 11, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba announced that a meeting between the presidents of Ukraine and the United States in Washington would take place in late July.
