Saxony government plans to open representative office in Ukraine

Oliver Schenk, a representative of the government of Saxony (FRG), has announced plans to open a representative office in Ukraine.

Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Vasyl Bodnar wrote about this on Twitter.

“Regions of Germany are showing a growing interest in our state, namely in the development of economic interaction, interregional ties, and tourism,” he noted.

As Ukrinform reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky was on an official visit to Germany on July 11-12. In Berlin, he met with Minister-President of North Rhine-Westphalia, Head of the Christian Democratic Union Armin Laschet, Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
