Kuleba, Nuland discuss preparations for Zelensky's visit to United States

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba and U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland discussed in a phone conversation preparations for President Zelensky's visit to the United States.

"Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba had a telephone conversation with U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland who informed him in detail about the content and results of the U.S.–Russia talks in Geneva on June 16," the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine informed.

As noted, Nuland said that U.S. President Joe Biden had stated clearly and firmly during the talks with the President of Russia that the United States strongly supported Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity which would continue to remain intact.

"Victoria Nuland underscored the unwavering commitment of the United States to the principle of 'no agreement on Ukraine without Ukraine' in negotiations with Russia and any other country," reads the statement.

The parties also discussed preparations for the visit of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to the United States of America and reaffirmed the mutual commitment to make it as meaningful and effective as possible.
