Kuleba, Szijjártó agree to continue dialogue on education and minorities

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Péter Szijjártó agreed to continue dialogue on education and national minorities with due respect for Ukraine’s national legislation.

Kuleba posted this on Twitter on May 13, Ukrinform reports.

"In our meeting in Bratislava, FM Szijjártó and I agreed to continue dialogue on education and minorities with due respect to Ukraine’s national legislation," the minister said.

Kuleba added that they also agreed to conclude an agreement on mutual recognition of vaccination certificates "so that our citizens can travel safely."

In addition, Szijjártó accepted Kuleba’s invitation to visit Donbas after Hungary assumes chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe this May.

As Ukrinform reported, yesterday Kuleba initiated a meeting with Szijjártó in Bratislava.

On Thursday, Kuleba will take part for the first time in a meeting of the foreign ministers of the Central Five (Austria, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, and the Czech Republic).
