Zelensky, Blinken discuss occupation of Ukrainian territories and Nord Stream 2

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken discussed the occupation of Ukrainian territories and Nord Stream 2.

The head of state said this during a joint press conference with the secretary of state in Kyiv on Thursday, May 6, Ukrinform reports.

"We discussed the occupation of our territories, the illegal annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation, as well as the issue of Nord Stream 2," Zelensky said.

The president stressed that the issue of Nord Stream 2 is very "sensitive" for Ukraine. According to him, there are different points of view on this project in Europe.

"But we share the same position with the United States," Zelensky said and thanked the United States for such support and a powerful sanctions policy.

As reported, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is on a visit to Kyiv on May 6.
