Putin not responds to Zelensky's invitation to meet in Donbas – Kuleba
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba says Ukraine has not received a response from the Kremlin to President Volodymyr Zelensky's invitation to Russian President Vladimir Putin for talks in the Donbas conflict zone.
Kuleba said this in an interview with Reuters.
Putin on Wednesday warned the West not to cross Russia's "red lines", saying Moscow would respond swiftly and harshly to any provocations.
"I read the message of President Putin the following way: 'we will be crossing your red lines, but you are not allowed to cross our red lines, and we will be defining where our red lines are'," Kuleba said.
As Ukrinform reported, on Tuesday, April 20, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, inviting him to meet "in any part of the Ukrainian Donbas where war is ongoing."
