Foreign ministers of Ukraine and Baltic states holding talks in Kyiv

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba is holding talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia Eva-Maria Liimets, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia Edgars Rinkevics and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis.

Kuleba wrote this on his Twitter account on April 15.

"I am pleased to welcome my Baltic friends and colleagues Eva-Maria Liimets, Edgars Rinkevics and Gabrielius Landsbergis in Kyiv today as Russia continues to escalate the security situation with actions and words. We firmly stand united in the face of Moscow’s threats," Kuleba wrote.

As reported, on April 15, the foreign ministers of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania will pay a joint working visit to Ukraine at the invitation of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba to demonstrate solidarity with Ukraine amid the destabilizing actions of the Russian Federation.

The Russian armed forces have recently been building up troops near the state border of Ukraine in the north, east and south, as well as in the occupied Crimea. In addition, the number of ceasefire violations by the armed formations of the Russian Federation in eastern Ukraine has increased; there are losses among the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the same time, the Russian Federation is conducting a propaganda campaign to justify possible aggression against Ukraine.

The United States, other Western countries, as well as the EU and NATO, came out in support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity against the backdrop of Russia's escalation in eastern Ukraine.
