Tymoshenko declares $5.5M in cash

Batkivshchyna party leader Yulia Tymoshenko has declared $5.491 million in cash for 2020, according to her income declaration published in the register of declarations.

Tymoshenko also keeps UAH 290,000 in cash and has UAH 780,242 in her bank accounts.

Her husband, Oleksandr Tymoshenko, keeps EUR 180,290, UAH 550,000 and $456,800 in cash and has UAH 55,888, $21, EUR 18,310 and CZK 52,693 in his bank accounts.

Last year, Tymoshenko received compensation for the damage caused by political repression in 2011-2014, which was received in the United States at the stage of pre-trial settlement in the amount of UAH 148,345,441. The funds were received from U.S.-based Rei Collins & Tsai LLP.

In addition, in 2020, Tymoshenko received a salary of UAH 462,538 as an MP, as well as UAH 255,860 for the performance of deputy powers. Tymoshenko also declared UAH 60,413 as interest from Oschadbank.

Oleksandr Tymoshenko received UAH 342,268 in foreign income, UAH 1,000,000 from the sale of securities and corporate rights, and UAH 133,722 in insurance payments.

The politician also declared a residential building with an area of 588 square meters in Kozyn, Obukhiv district, Kyiv region, which she leases.

Tymoshenko does not own cars, but her husband owns a 2018 Toyota LC 200, a 1983 GAZ 14 and a 2016 Audi A8.
