Arakhamiya, U.S. congressmen discuss military support for Ukraine

During an online meeting with U.S. Democratic Party representatives David Price and Steve Cohen, as well as Republican Party member Doug Lamborn, leader of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction discussed military support, sanctions against Russia and the fight against corruption.

"We establish a dialogue and cooperation with the U.S. Congress and work to strengthen bipartisan support for Ukraine. In particular, we received a positive assessment of the actions of the President of Ukraine in the fight against the oligarchs, discussed the deepening of joint work in combating corruption in Ukraine," David Arakhamiya said, the press service of the Servant of the People party informs.

It is noted that the parties also discussed the expansion of U.S. military support for Ukraine, coordination of actions to stop the construction of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, strengthening sanctions against Russia.

Arakhamiya also invited representatives of the U.S. Congress to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's independence on August 24 and received prior consent.
