Zelensky sends birthday greetings to Erdogan

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has congratulated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his birthday and thanked him for supporting Ukraine's territorial integrity.

The Ukrainian president wrote this on his Twitter account.

“Congratulations to the close friend and ally President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his birthday! I appreciate support for sovereignty and territorial integrity. I warmly recall my visit to Turkey in 2020 and look forward to the IX High-Level Strategic Council to deepen our relations,” Zelensky wrote on Twitter.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan was born in Istanbul on February 26, 1954. He was elected President of Turkey in 2014.

The eighth meeting of the High-Level Strategic Council chaired by the Presidents of Ukraine and Turkey was held in Kyiv on February 3, 2020.
