G7 ambassadors hail Ukraine's commitment to take steps to complete review of IMF program

The ambassadors of the G7 countries, during their meeting with Ukrainian Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko, have welcomed Ukraine's commitment to take the necessary steps to complete the review of the IMF program, according to a statement posted on the Twitter account of the UK Presidency of the G7 Ambassadors' Support Group in Kyiv.

"During their meeting with Minister of Finance Marchenko, G7 Ambassadors welcomed Ukraine's commitment to take the necessary actions, including reforming the High Council of Justice & on energy policy, to conclude the review of Ukraine's IMF program," the diplomats said.

The ambassadors added that delivering these commitments, as well as the positive plans they heard about regarding land reform and financing a green transition, will support Ukraine's macro-economic stability and development.
