Government dismisses head of State Forest Resources Agency

The Cabinet of Ministers has dismissed Vasyl Kuziovych as head of the State Forest Resources Agency of Ukraine and assigned the duties of the head of this body to Yurii Bolokhovets, according to the government's representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Servant of the People MP Vasyl Mokan.

He wrote this on Facebook following an extraordinary meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Monday, January 18, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"At today's extraordinary meeting, the Cabinet of Ministers also voted for the dismissal of Vasyl Stepanovych Kuziovych as head of the State Forest Resources Agency (by agreement of the parties) and for the temporary assignment of duties of the head of the State Forest Resources Agency to Yurii Vitaliiovych Bolokhovets (Deputy Head of the State Forest Resources Agency)," Mokan wrote.

According to him, the government approved the appointment of Volodymyr Orlov as First Deputy Head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Maksym Bespalchuk as Deputy Head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Olha Horb as Deputy Head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, and Oleksandr Fedko as Deputy Head of Zhytomyr Regional State Administration.

In addition, the government approved the appointment of Volodymyr Vazhynskyi as Deputy Head of Ternopil Regional State Administration, Volodymyr Bilyk as Deputy Head of Khmelnytskyi Regional State Administration, and Volodymyr Yuriev as Deputy Head of Khmelnytskyi Regional State Administration.

Kuziovych was appointed head of the State Forest Resources Agency in July 2020.
