Ukraine to sign grant agreement with Japan to purchase equipment for Border Guard Service

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a resolution to conclude a grant agreement with Japan on the purchase of special equipment for healthcare institutions of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

Vasyl Mokan, the government's representative in the Verkhovna Rada, wrote about this on his Facebook page.

"At today's special meeting [on January 5], the Cabinet of Ministers has approved a draft resolution on concluding an agreement (in the form of an exchange of notes) between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of Japan to provide the Cabinet with a non-project grant for the purchase of special equipment for healthcare facilities of the State Border Guard Service,” Mokan wrote.

He noted that the amount of the grant totals JPY 200 million (about UAH 55 million).
