Kovaliv resigns as deputy head of President's Office

Deputy Head of the President's Office Yuliya Kovaliv has tendered her resignation.

According to Ukrinform, she wrote this on her Facebook page.

"Today I am leaving the position of deputy head of the President's Office. It was an incredible experience and a great responsibility in a difficult time for the country," Kovaliv wrote on Monday, December 21.

Kovaliv thanked President Volodymyr Zelensky and everyone she worked with to achieve results. "I will continue to make every effort to make sure our country gets economically stronger, the wellbeing of citizens grows, and we, Ukrainians, have more faith in ourselves, in our country, in our strength," she said.

Kovaliv took up the post of deputy head of the President's Office on September 20, 2019.
