Govt appoints new acting energy minister

At an extraordinary government meeting on November 20, a decision was made to appoint a new acting energy minister.

According to the Government portal, the Cabinet of Ministers made a decision to recognize as invalid the order №604 on the temporary imposition of duties of the energy minister on Olha Buslavets.

"Yurii Boyko, who previously worked as deputy energy minister, has been appointed as acting energy minister," the report says.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal thanked Olha Buslavets for the changes she managed to make during these difficult months for the country.

He also noted that Buslavets remains to work in the government team.
