New Ukrainian ambassador presents copies of credentials at Swedish Foreign Ministry

Ukraine's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Sweden Andrii Plakhotniuk has presented copies of his credentials to Chief of Protocol of the Kingdom of Sweden Maria Christina Lundqvist.

This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Embassy in Sweden.

The ambassador confirmed Ukraine's commitment to deepening friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation with Sweden.

Plakhotniuk thanked Sweden for its firm support of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, assistance in implementing the reform policy, as well as for an active position in the international arena on key issues for Ukraine's national interests, primarily on countering armed aggression by the Russian Federation.

As Ukrinform reported, on September 21, President Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Andrii Plakhotniuk as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Sweden.
