Foreign ministers of Ukraine and Moldova confirm intention to solve accumulated problems

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba had a phone conversation with new Moldovan Foreign Minister Aureliu Ciocoi, the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has reported.

“Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba congratulated Aureliu Ciocoi on his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova. Dmytro Kuleba and Aureliu Ciocoi confirmed their intention to deepen Ukrainian-Moldovan relations, in particular to resolve the problematic issues accumulated in previous years,” the report says.

The ministers confirmed mutual support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova within the internationally recognized borders.

Also, the interlocutors agreed to intensify interaction within the framework of international organizations. Kuleba accepted Ciocoi's invitation to visit Moldova.
