Health minister visits four hospitals in Dnipropetrovsk region

During a working trip to Dnipropetrovsk region, Health Minister Maksym Stepanov will get acquainted with the work of four hospitals that provide care to patients with coronavirus.

"During the trip, Stepanov plans to visit the Mechnikov Dnipropetrovsk Regional Clinical Hospital, the Dnipro city clinical hospitals No. 4 and No. 16, as well as the Slobozhanska Central Hospital. These medical institutions provide assistance to patients with COVID-19," the ministry wrote on Facebook.

The main goal is to check the readiness of medical institutions in the region for the new challenges of the pandemic and to communicate with the health care teams of hospitals.

The ministry noted that in Dnipropetrovsk region, 25 medical institutions with 4,368 beds had been prepared for the treatment of patients with coronavirus disease.

As of November 10, Ukraine reported 479,197 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 10,179 new cases recorded over the past 24 hours.
