World leaders wish Zelensky speedy recovery from COVID-19

President Andrzej Duda of Poland, President Alexander Van der Bellen of Austria, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan, as well as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansa, have wished Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky a speedy recovery from COVID-19.

They wrote this in their posts on Twitter, according to Ukrinform.

"My best wishes to President Zelensky. I wish you a quick and complete recovery!" Van der Bellen said.

Duda, who has recently contracted coronavirus, expressed support to his Ukrainian counterpart.

"Best wishes of speedy and full recovery to President Zelensky. We stand with you and Ukraine in these difficult moments of COVID pandemic. Get well soon, Mr. President!" Duda wrote.

Tokayev also wished Zelensky a speedy recovery from COVID-19. "Kazakhstan and Ukraine are exchanging experience in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic and, together with the world community, will overcome this dangerous disease," he said.

Netanyahu also supported Zelensky.

"My friend Zelensky, wishing you a full recovery," he tweeted.

Jansa also wished the Ukrainian president a speedy recovery from the virus.

As many as 10,842 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in Ukraine on November 9.
