Zelensky: If I fail to end war, another person is needed

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky claims he will not cling to power.

"If I fail to end the war, then we need another person, able to end this tragic story between our countries, to come," Zelensky said in an interview to Stephen Sackur on the BBC HARDtalk.

President Zelensky added that he has never clung to ratings and power and resigning is not a problem for him.

October 7-8, President of Ukraine made a state visit to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. On the first day of the visit, the President and the First Lady met with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Volodymyr Zelensky also met with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and signed the UK-Ukraine Agreement on Political Cooperation, Free Trade, and Strategic Partnership.
