Govt allocates almost UAH 10M to Donbas war victims

For the eighth time, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allocated funds to victims of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO).

Deputy Economic Development, Trade, and Agriculture Minister of Ukraine Svitlana Panaiotidi said this after the government made a decision to allocate funds to help the ATO victims, the press service of the Economy Ministry reported.

“Supporting citizens affected by the anti-terrorist operation and their families is the task of the state. This is already the eighth government decision this year. In 2020, the government has allocated UAH 133.2 million to provide financial assistance to the ATO victims,” Panaiotidi said.

As reported, the government at its meeting on September 30, 2020 made a decision to allocate UAH 9.76 million from the state budget’s reserve fund to family members of four people who died during participation in the anti-terrorist operation, and seven people who became disabled.
