Ukraine's deputy foreign minister paying working visit to Turkey

On September 16, 2020, Ukraine's Deputy Foreign Minister Vasyl Bodnar began a working visit to Turkey.

This was reported by the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Turkey.

The Ukrainian diplomat is a candidate for the post of Secretary-General of the Permanent International Secretariat of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC PERMIS) from Ukraine; therefore, during a meeting with Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Turkey Faruk Kaymakcı, he presented the vision of the Ukrainian side regarding the priorities for the further development of BSEC and ways to deepen cooperation between the states of the Black Sea basin.

In addition, Bodnar met with Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Sedat Önal, with whom he discussed topical issues of cooperation between Ukraine and Turkey, in particular bilateral events planned until the end of the year and the current state of affairs in the region.
