Govt allocates UAH 9.26M to help families of Donbas war victims – Mokan

The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated UAH 9.26 million to provide one-time financial assistance to family members of servicemen killed in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in Donbas and to people who became disabled due to an injury, concussion or illness received in the ATO.

The Government’s representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Vasyl Mokan, wrote about this on his Facebook page.

“At today's meeting, the government adopted a draft resolution “On the allocation of funds for providing one-off financial assistance to the families of those killed (died) during participation in the anti-terrorist operation, and to persons who became disabled due to an injury, concussion, mutilation or illness sustained during the participation in the said operation," Mokan wrote.

In general, one-time financial assistance will be provided to the families of five people who died and five people who became disabled as a result of an injury, mutilation received during the participation in the ATO.
