Zelensky appoints Tatarov deputy head of President’s Office

President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Oleh Tatarov as deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

The decree on his appointment, No.310/2020, has been published on the president’s website.

“To appoint Oleh Tatarov as Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine,” the document says.

As Tatarov noted in comments to Ukrinform, his area of competence includes the formation of state policy in law enforcement activities, expert and analytical support of the President's Office, and ensuring guarantees of the national security of the state in the fields of law enforcement, anti-corruption and protection of human rights.

Oleh Tatarov is a Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine.

In 1999-2014, he served in internal affairs. Since 2011 he has been deputy head of the Main Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Since 2014 he has been engaged in law practice, was a managing partner of the law firm "Tatarov Farynnyk Holovko" (TFG Partners).
