UIA cancels flights to 10 destinations till end of August

Ukraine International Airlines has canceled international flights to ten destinations till the end of August.

"Due to the extension of restrictions [on free crossing of the Schengen area borders for citizens of Ukraine], the airline is forced to make new adjustments to the August flight schedule. Flights to Larnaca (LCA), Frankfurt (FRA) Baku (GYD), Prague (PRG), Vienna (VIE), Chisinau (KIV), Berlin (TXL), Athens (ATH), Rome (FCO), Barcelona (BCN) are cancelled till the end of August," UIA press service informs.

As noted, the UIA plans to operate international flights on the following routes: Kyiv - Amsterdam (AMS) - Kyiv, Kyiv - London (LGW) - Kyiv, Kyiv - Paris (CDG) - Kyiv, Kyiv - Toronto (YYZ) - Kyiv, Kyiv - Nice (NCE) - Kyiv, Kyiv - Dubai (DXB) - Kyiv, Kyiv - Istanbul (IST) - Kyiv, Odesa - Istanbul (IST) - Odesa, Kyiv - Tel Aviv (TLV) - Kyiv, Odesa - Tel Aviv (TLV) - Odesa, Kyiv - Milan (MXP) - Kyiv, Kyiv - Naples (NAP) - Kyiv, Kyiv - Munich (MUC) - Kyiv, Kyiv - Yerevan (EVN) - Kyiv, Kyiv - Madrid (MAD) - Kyiv , Kyiv - Cairo (CAI) - Kyiv.

Domestic flights in August will be operated to Odesa (ODS), Kherson (KHE), and Lviv (LWO).

As reported, the European Union reopened its borders to tourists from 15 “safe” non-EU countries. Ukraine is not on the list.

As of August 4, Ukraine reports 74,219 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases.
