Ukraine, Estonia interested in digital cooperation

Ukraine and Estonia are interested in implementing joint projects in e-governance, informatization of Ukrainian society and digital services.

This was discussed during a meeting between Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Senik and Estonian Ambassador to Ukraine Kaimo Kuusk on Tuesday, the Foreign Ministry’s press service reported.

"The main topic of the conversation was cooperation of the two countries in digitalization and digital transformations. Mutual interest in the implementation of joint projects in e-governance, informatization of Ukrainian society and the receipt of digital services was emphasized," the report says.

In this context, the parties discussed the preparations for the Second Ukrainian-Estonian Digital Forum, scheduled for this autumn in Kyiv.

The diplomats paid special attention to the interaction of the two countries in the UN Security Council. They noted the positive experience of cooperation with Estonia in countering direct and hybrid threats to international peace and security, in particular, within the framework of Estonia's non-permanent membership at the UN Security Council, which began in 2020.
