Zelensky announces construction of multispecialty hospitals in five or six regions

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced the construction of multispecialty hospitals in five or six regions of Ukraine as part of the Big Construction program.

He stated this at the opening of the second stage of a new building of the Okhmatdyt children's hospital, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"An important part of this [Big Construction] program is multispecialty hospitals that we want to build in five or six regions of Ukraine, which will be equipped with everything. The task is to have everything there, completely," Zelensky said.

He said that such an initiative would be implemented and added that "the most important thing for us is to find the necessary number of specialists for this equipment, not to lose people who work in our country - from doctors to nurses."
