About 200,000 people from occupied Donbas receive Russian passports – Reintegration Ministry

About 200,000 people from the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions have received Russian passports.

Ukraine's Deputy Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories Inna Holovanchuk said this on the air of the TV program "Freedom of Speech of Savik Shuster" on Friday evening, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"According to my information, about 200,000 people have received passports [of the Russian Federation]," she said.

Holovanchuk noted that during the occupation, about 400,000 people moved to Ukraine from the occupied territories of Luhansk region, and much less from Crimea.
