Zelensky congratulates Duda on election victory, invites him to Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has congratulated incumbent Polish President Andrzej Duda on his victory in the presidential election and invited him to visit Ukraine.

Zelensky wrote this on his Twitter account.

"I sincerely congratulate Mr. Andrzej Duda on his victory in the election! I wish Poland further success and prosperity under your leadership. I invite you to visit Ukraine to continue our fruitful cooperation. Together we are stronger!" Zelensky said.

With 99.97% of the vote counted, incumbent Polish President Andrzej Duda is nearly 2.5% ahead of his opponent, Warsaw Mayor Rafal Trzaskowski, in the second round of the country's presidential election.
